The Camera




Movie Camera:-Camera that continuously takes 24 film frames per second as long as the user holds down the shutter button.

Lens-Captures light from the subject and brings it to focus on the film or detector.

Image Sensor-What the camera uses to store the picture on flash memory.

Lens hood- its used on the end of a lens to block the sun or other light source to prevent glare and lens flare.


Aperture-Hole or opening in which light travels through.

Shutter-Device that allows light to pass for a determined amount of time.

Exposure-amount of light allowed to fall on each area unit of a photographic medium when your talking a picture.

Depth of Field-distance between the nearest and farthest objects in a scene when taking a picture.
F-stop-ratio of the lens focal length to the diameter of the entrance of the pupil.

Focal Length-measure of how strongly the system converges or diverges light.
